Investment Opportunities

Liberty Resources are seeking strategic, commercial and financial partners to assist in realising Queensland’s UCG potential.

Liberty Resources, Perth, Australia

Queenslands UCG potential. The Opportunity Queensland (QLD) hosts many billions of tonnes of coal. Not only can QLD export hundreds of millions of tonnes of coal per year, but there are many more billions of tons that can potentially be converted into diesel fuels to supply Australia and overseas. For example, a 100,000 barrel per day facility equalling 36,500,000 barrels per year would generate $3,650,000,000 per annum of revenue. Liberty Resources is proposing to build a number of UCG and CTL facilities to provide a cleaner, greener and safer energy future. This industry will be based on large scale Deep Coal Seams located in Queensland. Liberty Resources has entered an agreement to acquire approximately 64,000 square kilometres of Exploration Permits for Coal Applications (EPCAs) in Queensland. The EPCAs cover Deep Coal Seams in the Surat, Galilee and Bowen coal basins, potentially suitable for Underground Coal Gasification (UCG). It is believed to be the largest private holding for Deep Coal in Queensland, one of the worlds major coal exporters.Liberty Resources Limited (LBY) Current Status Current Shares on Issue: 69,425,003Current Options on Issue: 30,212,001 (LBYOA 25c exercise - 310309 expiry)Shares to be issued: 91,000,000 (Subject to shareholder approval for consideration of Coal Applications - latest date to approve 190109)Options to be Issued: 100,000,000 (Exercise 50c, expiry 300911 - only vested to vendors IF the LBY share price exceeds $1.00 for a period of 10 consecutive trading days)Cash at Bank: Approx $3.8milLiberty - Following the Success of Linc Energy state that their UCG trial at Chinchilla has demonstrated that 1 tonne of coal can be transformed into approximately 1.5 barrels of oil or clean fuel (diesel and jet fuel).Anglo Coal state that at the Monash Project, Victoria 1.2 tonne of brown coal produces 1 barrel of high quality diesel. http:www.iea.orgTextbasework2006ciabnovworkshopreport.pdfCarbon Energy quote that the in situ Energy (in Petajoules PJ) value of their 120Mt coal resource in the Surat Basin is 2,400 PJ. If only 50% of this is recoverable and a conversion factor of one million barrels crude oil 5.83 PJe (Origin Energy)is used then 1 tonne of coal could yield 1.8 bbl oil.If you are interested in getting further information on this exciting opportunity, please contact Managing Director Andrew Haythorpe on 61407 737 973 or email ah@ouro.com.au
